Year-end Party a Blast!
December 23, 2011

Before the two-week Christmas hiatus, the year-ender Family Day for staff and family members had to be something worth remembering. Indeed, the attendees were treated this year to a visual feast which only comes once in a lifetime.

The program kicked off with a Holy Mass officiated by Fr. Roy Cimagala. At the reception, a string quartet composed of two CITE students and two others from Mandaue School of Arts serenaded the audience with Christmas carols.

Father and son tandem June and Janlo Capuyan hosted the event with spontaneity and fun. Parlor games and raffle draws were held in the middle of the event which included coloring contest, pin the mustache, duck walk contest, and the apple eating contest between couples.

Adding spice to the event were the firedance number by Kurt Vidal, dance number from Maneuvers, a short skit by the Dramatics Abstraction, Fr. Roy’s cover of Josh Groban, and the free-flowing music courtesy of the Acoustic Band during the sumptuous lunch.

The event ended with a community singing and gift-giving among the attendees.
