“A simple meal means everything to these children,” said a teacher in Canduman Elementary School as she began pouring out the tuna dish mixed with vegetables on the plates of the children all agog waiting for the food to be served.

Some little girls looked around before darting on the meal, while the boys immediately gobbled up the food.

This was the scene during the feeding program launched in Canduman Elementary School on November 23. The feeding team was welcomed by the school administrators and teachers who were elated to find out that Century Pacific Group has brought wellness to their little school.

A short program was staged to formally open the event attended by some parents and members of the faculty. Mr. Jun Mercado, who headed the CITE delegation, gave a talk on parenthood before the parents before the program ended.
