DTS Partners Honored
November 01, 2011

CITE honored 45 of its industry partners in a simple recognition rite on October 26. These partners are taking in student-trainees from CITE under its Industrial Technician Program (ITP), a 3-year tech-voc training using the Dual Training System (DTS) where students are exposed to real-work environment after 15 months of in-school training.

During the ceremony, company representatives received plaques of appreciation from CITE to recognize their partnership with the school. Handing the awards were members of CITE Board, Jose Soberano III and Engr. Emilio Borja.

As of October 15, these 45 active industry partners are taking in 404 trainees. Of these, 12 are now being assisted to obtain their accreditation from Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
