CITE Students Pass Competency Assessment
October 23, 2011

Second year Electromechanics Technology students passed the National Certifications (NC) in Machining II and Consumer Electronics assessment held on October 15. The assessment was conducted by competency assessors from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)

By passing the national assessment, 13 scholars are now holders of the NC in Machining II, while the 25 are certified in Consumer Electronics.

TESDA’s assessment process seeks to determine whether the student can perform to the standards expected in the workplace vis-a-vis the competency standards. Certification is provided to those who meet the competency standards. This ensures the productivity, quality and global competitiveness of the middle-level workers.
