Jerry Racaza still recalled his life as a student chasing the Kaoshiung Bus every morning just to get a free ride to CITE on time. Trying to get on the bus was like a daily struggle for him let alone the everyday uphill climb.
But after 13 years, Jerry could not help but sigh at those memories as he passed by a group of young CITE students at the lobby during his last visit to CITE. That used to be me, he said to himself.
Jerry was a graduate of Electrical Technology in 1998. He worked at Cebu Mitsumi Inc. after graduation where he worked as a maintenance technician. When he started to have his own family, he decided to go to Middle East to seek greener pasture. Tugging along his wife, Jerry worked as a technician in a printing press in Riyadh.
Now he is back in the country to pursue his engineering course. To keep him busy, he took a job in a subsidiary company of Shemberg Marketing as a maintenance technician. With the impending company expansion overseas, he is looking forward to finish his Electrical Engineering course through a ladderized program to keep his pace with future promotions.
Jerry has never been afraid to explore new things and take challenges. After all, his training in CITE has already prepared him for the most difficult rides yet. Why not get on a bus and enjoy the trip called life?
