  Alumni Update

For sixteen years, CITE has been producing graduates of its 3-year Industrial Technician Program major in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical & Telecommunications Technology.

In other words CITE has been molding "extraordinary technicians" for almost ten years. Why "extraordinary?” Read this to find out. I apologize to the persons whose name were not included because of very short notice of this task. I would like to apologize also to the persons involved in this article. The persons depicted in this article are in no way harmed or insulted.

Most of the graduates are scattered all over Cebu, mostly in companies in MEPZ while others are in the academe pursuing their studies while some are successful entrepreneurs.

CIT. Jae Rosario - I wonder what Cebu Institute of Technology has been feeding Jae? He is currently the CIT's System Administrator. Still single and receiving a five digit salary. He is rumored to be preparing for his wedding this coming 2050.

Engr. Neil Ian Duhaylungsod - Currently an instructor in the ECE department. His fans have suggested to change his name to Neil Twotowns. He is a good collaborator with Engr. Ramon Rosales II in the same department.

ABROAD. Arnulfo Pasuit - In Saudi Arabia working as a telecom technician (or probably looking for Bin Laden to get the reward money for CITE). Rumored to have changed his Christian name to a Muslim name?

Brian Kimseng - Currently working in Chicago. He has a good life, an apartment, and a transport car. Still single and not yet planning to get married and rumored to have gained a lot of weight just like Jae. There are graduates who are currently in Singapore, Taiwan, and Boston but they haven't updated our database yet. So whoever you are please let us know.

TMX. Ryan Rivera - A production engineer with a technician degree, and working to get the degree through Extended Tertiary Equivalency and Accreditation Program in CIT.

Sherwin Sapong - Currently not yet married to Ate V... was recently promoted to an engineering position. Promised to treat his batchmates but as of now it hasn't been materialized. "Bangka Nimo Uyyy."

Christian Tariman - Recently graduated his BSCEE degree and is planning for his wedding this coming months. Bilis talaga, always remind me of his being 1st place in the marathon race.

ENTREP. Broddcom is a company owned by Julito Dacalos and Oliver Chan both CITE graduates. They have been in the business for quite some time and has already earned millions maybe. Strong pa rin ang partnership even with the SARS outbreak.

Isagani Cahig - Currently studying seriously in CIT as an ECE hoping to surpass his father who is a lawyer. Make regular trips to Ormoc for his love life and other business engagements.

Christopher Luzon will be transferring to his mansion (believed to be worth in millions) next month in Talisay. He has been successful in his cellphone business. He is planning to enroll in BS-Nursing this coming June.

Roy Mangubat - "Crush ng Bayan" in CIT pursuing his degree at the same time managing his company, Endeavor Industries (Fixed Cable Networking Co.).

FAIRCHILD. Glenn de los Reyes - A Ramon Magsaysay National Awardee and is doing very well in his work. In fact due to his speedy success we are unable to update his profile. But sources say, he just got married recently. Best wishes!

Chester Arriola - Happily married to Cha-cha (thanks to Ian's Php50 advice). His marriage came up with a healthy boy.

Erwin Armecin - finished his studies at CIT. Probably still out there having euphoria of passing Data Communication which he nearly flunked. Thanks to divine interventions.

There are many of them in Teradyne and had been out of the country for training and vacations. They are the highest paid of all the alumni and even with the instructors of CITE.

Romualdo Imbong now looks like young Santa Claus. I wonder when he will start his PRT exercises. And a whole lot of other guys in Teradyne - please update us now at alumni@cite.edu.ph.

CITE. Ryan Sarabia - Priestly Ryan is currently in-charge of the calibration center of CITE believed to help finance the scholarship programs of the school. Watch out for his canonization.

Leonardo Arriesgado - Appointed as the Mechanical Department head and most of all happily married with two kids. Bilib gyud mi uy!

These are just a few of the graduates who with their personal dedication, hardwork and prayers had helped them reached their stars. But most of all they are contented and happy of what they have and giving thanks to God for the blessings received great or small. So all of you out there let us hear from you. Update us now!
